Heart of America Association of Blood Banks is a
nonprofit, professional organization dedicated to improving transfusion medicine
by fostering the exchange of information and bringing education opportunities to
blood bank and transfusion medicine professionals.
We are also

One of the goals of our professional
organization is to find new ways to serve our membership. We promote our
website as a source of information about HAABB. Our upcoming meetings and
other educational opportunities are listed on the Education page. We also
recap the highlights of the previous meeting on the Newsletter page. Be sure
to check out the photo section for appearances by your fellow Blood Bankers.
The website also lists current job
opportunities, FAQs, history of our organization, membership application
form and links to other transfusion organizations.
We
appreciate all suggestions and ideas to improve the organization and
website. Please contact any of the board members with your feedback. The
board members’ contact information is found on the Contact Us page.
We depend on your ideas for topics for continuing education
and how to better serve the transfusion professionals in our region. We hope
to continue to grow and develop new ways to promote and foster opportunities
for education, interaction and exchange of ideas throughout our region.
Jennifer Jung MT (ASCP)
HAABB President 2008-2009
